This tool uses Twitter search of the public timeline.

Re-Tweeted messages are selected and highlighted.

Additional messages can be shared using “channel mode”.

public (default) mode

  • Retweeted messages (within the results of search query) are selected and shown as “white messages.”
    • Twitter official RT is not supported.
    • If the query of user is “#abc”, Twitter search for “#abc RT” is executed.
    • Duplicated messages (or, similar message to another) are omitted. DP (dynamic programming) matching is used for this process.
    • Citation parts, URLs, hashtags, account names are shown in small charactors.
  • Other messages are shown as “gray messages.”
  • You can use “create channel for (query)”.

channel mode

  • After you created a channel, “channel id (number)” and “pass (random charactors)” are generated.
  • Other users can join the channel, if they know the channel ID and pass.
  • In channel mode, you can use “post messages”.
  • Posted messages are shown as “yellow message”. They are shared only with the users of the same channel.
  • Use “leave channel” for back to default mode.
  • Screen is reloaded in every 10 seconds. This can be disabled with “auto update” checkbox.

security and privacy

  • This is experimental system. Please do not use this system for security-sensitive information.
  • Access logs from UserAgent are recorded for research and development of the system.
  • Currently, we do not use the Twitter login authorization. This system does not use Twitter OAuth. We only use search API of public timeline.
